As a doctor of chiropractic, Dr. Gottenborg diagnoses and treats musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions resulting from accidents, sports injuries, lifestyle modifications and occupational stresses.
Dr. Gottenborg specializes in identifying and correcting nutritional problems related to complex medical conditions like: cholesterol, blood sugar, hormonal imbalances, thyroid and toxicity. This includes young children and adults of all ages.
Chiropractic Education and Training
Dr. Gottenborg received his undergraduate education from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks and chiropractic education and degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic, Bloomington, Minnesota. He is board certified in chiropractic. This means he fulfilled the necessary criteria established by the board and has passed the examination that accredit him in this field. He has practiced, in Pelican Rapids, continuously since 1983.
Dr. Gottenborg is married to Kimberly Gottenborg, a 6th grade math teacher at Pelican Rapids Elementary. They have five children. He enjoys golf, flower gardening, developing and maintaining an apple orchard and hunting.

Associates Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene from North Dakota State College of Science. Working with patients on Oral Hygiene has led Nancy to focus on Nutrition and the health benefits of quality supplements. Nancy recently completed a twelve month Nutritional
Consultant Program through Global College of Natural Medicine and receiving her Nutritional Consultant Certificate. She enjoys attending lectures and seminars focusing on better health.
Nancy enjoys reading, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.
SUSANNE ANDERSON, massage therapist
As a Certified Massage Therapist, Susanne specializes in deep tissue and Swedish massage. Receiving massage therapy is beneficial for muscle injuries and muscle tension. Therapeutic massage involves the mobilization of soft tissue to promote health and wellness. Susanne practices out of the Gottenborg Chiropractic Clinic and Naturale Alternatives.
Susanne completed her massage training and certification at the Institute of Natural Therapies. That means she has passed an examination that includes written and practical components to become certified.
Susanne grew up in Menahga, Minnesota, along with three brothers and three sisters. She graduated from Menahga High School, and went on to the Institute of Natural Therapies (I.N.T) She married Jordan Anderson of Menahga, in December of 2005. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, being active, traveling, camping and reading.
